Our Stance on Net Neutrality
There has been a lot of press lately about large ISPs like Comcast and Verizon demanding content providers such as Netflix pay them for speedy delivery of their content to their customers.
In short, these ISPs are using classic bullying tactics, driven by greed, to extract money from other businesses for services that are already being paid for by their customers.
When a Comcast or Verizon
customer pays their service charge each month, they are entitled to the speeds and data limits of the plan they pay for. Net-Neutrality dictates that the customer is entitled to use their
service to deliver the content they want. Comcast and Verizon are not only determining what internet content is available to their customers, but are
also attempting to profit mightily from it.
Imagine if you will that your local government begins demanding nearby restaurants and shops pay them extra to allow residents using city and county roads to reach them. If they don't pay up
their potential customers will be forced to use pothole-filled lanes with a 5-mph speed limit, even though those same customers pay for road upkeep through their taxes.
Any sane person would clearly see this as the "mob shakedown" tactic it is, yet this is exactly what Comcast and Verizon are now doing with their intenet service. It's simply not right.
We at Ayera Technnologies, promise to honor and protect net neutrality for our customers. As an Ayera high-speed wireless internet subscriber, you may use your service for any
legal purpose you desire. We promise to never throttle your service speeds or quality based on what web sites you visit or what content you access. We promise to never
extort money from content providers to deliver their content to you. You have already paid us a fair price for your internet service and we realize content providers have also paid their internet providers
for their internet service. We promise to always fight for your rights as a consumer to keep the internet open and continually innovating. Period.
